<국문요약>
필자는 하나에서 셋으로 지속적으로 분화하여 1-3-9-81로 이어지고, 이 가운데 3․9(3×3)․81(9×9) 등이 중요한 성수로 사용되는 북방 샤머니즘의 고유한 사유체계를 ‘3수 분화의 세계관(1-3-9-81)’이라고 부른다.
‘3수 분화의 세계관’이 최초로 체계화된 홍산문화(B.C. 4500-B.C. 3000년)의 분포 지역이 바로 요녕성과 내몽고 동부 그리고 하북성 위쪽을 아우르는 지역이다. 이 지역은 흔히 말하는 후대의 신선사상의 발원지인 발해연안 지역과 대부분 겹친다.
‘3수 분화의 세계관’은 홍산문화 지역에서 발원하여 신선사상으로 이어지고, (1) 중원 지역으로 남하하여 도가나 도교 계통으로, (2) 한반도 지역에서는 선도사상과 각종 민족종교로 체계화된다. 따라서 신선사상에서 기원한 연단술이나 한국의 기층문화는 당연히 이러한 ‘3수 분화의 세계관’이 흔적이 남겨져 있다.
이글에서는, (1) 발해 연안 지역에서 시작된 신선사상에서 방사(方士)들에 의해서 발전된 각종 금단(金丹)의 제조-복용법과 방중술(房中術), (2) 현재 우리나라의 한약재(韓藥材), 녹차, 죽염 등의 제조법 등에서 ‘3수 분화의 세계관’의 성수인 ‘변화의 계기수 3’, ‘변화의 완성수 9(3×3)’, ‘우주적 완성수 81(9×9)’ 등이 반복적으로 사용된다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다.
필자는 한국의 한약이나 음식 문화는 ‘3수 분화의 세계관’과 성수 3․9(3×3)․81(9×9) 등을 고려할 때 좀 더 체계적으로 이해할 수 있다고 본다.

Traces of ‘World View of Trichotomy (1-3-9-81)’ left on the Taoist alchemy and Korean Traditional Medicine Stuff

I have suggested ‘World View of Trichotomy’ differentiating itself by keeping the very rule of ‘1-3-9-81’ way through various papers and books. ‘World View of Trichotomy’ is common in Northeast Asian Shamanism. In each and every region of Northeast Asia, we can see
the ‘Holy Numbers 3, 9 and 81’of Northeast Asian Shamanism.
‘World View of Trichotomy’ is systematized in the Hong-shan Culture(B.C. 4500-B.C. 3000).’ The distribution of the ‘Hong-shan Culture’ and the original ‘Immortal Hermit idea’ area is the almost same.
‘World View of Trichotomy’ succeeded southward to the central China, and turned into the grassroots of ‘Chinese Taoism’ and ‘Taoist Hermit ideology’. And this world-view has also been handed down to Sundo(仙道, Korean Taoism) and other Korean national religions. For
this reason, traces of ‘World View of Trichotomy’ left on the Taoist alchemy and Korean Traditional culture.
This paper places its sharp attention to the traces of ‘World View of Trichotomy(1-3-9-81)’ left on the Taoist alchemy and Korean traditional medical stuff.
In ‘World View of Trichotomy’, (1) 3 means ‘Number of Chance for Change’, (2) 9(3×3) means ‘Number of Completing Change’, (3) and 81(9×9) means ‘Number of Universal Completeness.’
Taoist alchemy is the art of making the elixir of eternal life. I can find ‘Holy number 3, 9(3×3) and 81(9×9)’ many times in the process of making many kind of elixirs. It is a lot of influence to Korean traditional medical stuff. So, I can find many ‘Holy Numbers 3, 9(3×3) and 81(9×9)’ in the Korean traditional medical stuff.
I suggest that Korean traditional medicine and food culture can be explained systematically and reasonably when considering ‘World View of Trichotomy’ and its Holy Numbers(3, 9, 81).
